Toni Blount

Toni Blount is a former manager with Verizon Communications Inc. and changed
careers in 2003 when landline sales declined as mobile phone sales increased.
In 2004 she studied Principles of Real Estate at Long and Foster in Columbia, Maryland
and subsequently earned her Real Estate license and joined Horizon Real Estate Group
LLC which subsequently became The Velocity Group LLC, In 16 years Toni has gained
experience in the following:
● Residential home sales
● Land Sales
● First time homebuyers
● Move up buyers
● Luxury home sales
● New residential construction
● Distressed sales including short sales and foreclosures
● Commercial leases
● Investor acquisitions, renovations and resale
Toni earned a Graduate of Real Estate Institute (GRI) through the Greater Capital Area
Association of Realtors (GCAAR) in 2008. She also earned the Certified New Homes Sale
Professional (CSP) designation through the National Home Builders Association.
She has also conducted first time homebuyer seminars and taught homebuyer classes
to educate buyers in the homebuying process. She often also mentors new agents that
join to the brokerage.
